About

Born and raised just outside of Madrid, I always found great excitement in the doors that learning other languages could open. I studied a BA in Translation and Interpreting at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (where I also got my Sworn Translator certification) and later an MA program in Audiovisual Translation at the Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona.

During and after college, I also lived in Toronto, Heidelberg and Luxembourg. In these last two cities, I was employed as an editor for training materials and an in-house translator. I moved to Boulder (Colorado, US) in 2015, where I finally started my freelance career as a translator and LQA tester.

I spend my free time outdoors and away from screens doing your typical Colorado things, and then again indoors and glued to the screens watching the latest hit shows. I also enjoy dabbling in other languages and doing pottery.
